AURORA

RGB control, translated.

Aurora is a Windows control project built to connect hardware that does not naturally speak the same lighting language. Its first target is the Lemokey P1 HE keyboard—bridging OpenRGB intent to the keyboard’s known-good controls.

[ THE PROBLEM ]

One ecosystem.
Hardware left outside.

The Lemokey P1 HE is capable hardware, but it is not natively recognized by OpenRGB. Aurora explores the missing layer between them: listening, translating, diagnosing, and forwarding only commands proven safe on the keyboard.

01

OPENRGB LISTENER

Reads live device colors and modes through the OpenRGB SDK bridge.

02

LEMOKEY BRIDGE

Translates standard RGB intent into commands understood by the P1 HE.

03

MODE MAPPING

Matches outside lighting modes to the closest keyboard-native Aurora effect.

04

LIVE DIAGNOSTICS

Exposes connection state, detected device, RGB values, mappings, and errors.

Built in public. Learned by doing.

Aurora is not being presented as finished software. It is a real, working experiment—documenting the difficult parts, the hardware limitations, and every useful breakthrough along the way.
